Let’s get one thing straight, Olaolu Slawn isn’t your average paintbrush guy. He’s that Nigerian-born, London-based menace who made it cool to look like you didn’t even try (but lowkey tried way too hard).
Slawn started off bombing walls in Lagos with his crew BOY$, just vibing, spraying chaos, and somehow turning it into culture. Fast-forward a few years and man’s out here designing suits for Virgil, dropping custom pieces for Drake, and having art collectors pay stupid money for things he probably made while hungover.

His vibe? Effortlessly unserious. He moves like he’s permanently in that “yeah whatever” mood (but still wins.) That’s the charm. It’s like watching your funniest friend become a global art icon just by being himself.
The hype around Slawn isn’t just about what he paints it’s about what he represents: freedom, confidence, and that sweet, sweet mix of humor and rebellion. He’s proof that you don’t need a plan, a filter, or even a clean canvas. Just bold ideas and zero fear.
In short, Slawn’s not painting for approval. He’s painting because he can. And honestly, that’s the kind of energy we all need right now.

At FOMO, we call that mindset “no critics, no apologies , just art and attitude.”
