Falling in Love at 140+ BPM: KI/KI

The first time you hear a KI/KI set, you don’t think “wow, nice selection.”
You think:
“Oh. This person is dangerous.”
Dangerous in the way old rave flyers were dangerous. In the way acid lines feel illegal even when they’re not. In the way your heart starts racing before your brain can say calm down.

She drags the 90s rave spirit into the present, straps it to a faster BPM, and whispers, “You missed this. But I brought it back for you.”
And suddenly you’re dancing like rent doesn’t exist.
KI/KI plays acid like it’s a love language. Trance like it’s confession. Techno like it’s a threat.
There’s melody, but it’s not polite. There’s emotion, but it’s not soft.
It’s euphoria with teeth.
Her sets feel like:
falling in love with someone you know will ruin you
texting your ex at 4am but it’s actually a Roland TB-303
crying in a warehouse and calling it spiritual growth
And the worst part? She makes it feel intentional.
Like she knows exactly when to lift you up…and exactly when to drop you so hard you thank her for it.
Listening to KI/KI may cause:
unrealistic expectations from other DJs
emotional attachment to acid lines
sudden urges to book flights for sets you can’t afford
deep resentment toward minimal techno
Proceed anyway.
Because once she gets under your skin, you don’t want her out.
And honestly?
Neither do we.......
